Role: BRAND STRATEGIST, COPYWRITER, & LEAD CREATIVE Agency: Versa Creative Group Outcome: Cardiovascular Association approached Versa Creative Group looking for a full rebranding, complete with new name, logo, voice, collateral, etc. They had very little to work with in regards to a current brand, which provided me with an excellent opportunity. However, they wanted the new name, logo, values, mission, and creative all within a month. |
I began by gathering insights through client interviews - asking the physicians what they valued, what set them apart, and what their purpose was - and through competitor research. I came up with several insights and possible options, but in the end, it all boiled down to this:

Vital Heart & Vein became the new name for a brand whose focus is encouraging patients to chase after their hearts' desires. After all, what's the point of prolonging life if it's not a life worth living. As a result, our aesthetic and voice focus on active, healthy lifestyles and the artistic expression of life's joys.
